Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks has given permission for in-person hunter education classes to resume after a long break since March of 2020. All of the course materials and tests have been available online for the past year. Online classes are great for the convenience factor, but have a hard time standing up to being able to handle the teaching firearms we have available to use so we are trying to gauge the interest in resuming an in-person class for the Fairfield area for the upcoming spring.

If you would prefer to do an in-person hunter education course this spring, please contact Mitchell Peters at (406) 868-7705 or Paul Wilson at (406) 788-7507 and let them know.
